TIDRC

The TIDRC project, originally started at the University of Florida as part of the INIT Lab, is now being led by the ELiCIT lab at UIC. The main objective of the project is to bridge the gap between research and practice in the field of mobile applications for children by identifying ways to effectively communicate research-based guidelines to design practitioners.

Speech and Gesture

The objective of the Speech and Gesture project is to understand users’ natural speech and gesture behaviors with technology and leverage this understanding to design more intuitive intelligent user interfaces, particularly for creativity support applications.
